Risk Disclosures

Digital assets carry risk

Digital assets and stablecoins carry risk and are not guaranteed to hold value. Their value can fall, sometimes quickly and significantly, and you could get back less than you put in - or lose it entirely.

Stablecoins can lose their peg

A stablecoin is designed to track the value of another asset, such as the US dollar, but that link is not guaranteed. A stablecoin can lose its peg and trade below its intended value.

Currency and conversion (FX) risk

When you convert between currencies or between digital assets and dollars, the rate changes over time. The amount you receive depends on the rate at the moment of conversion, and that rate can move against you.

Not a bank; no deposit insurance

Paisy is a financial technology company, not a bank. Paisy is non-custodial via Dynamic. Card, account, and payout services are provided through Rain under its own arrangements. Funds and digital assets held with Paisy are generally not covered by deposit insurance. There is no FDIC or CDIC claim. Issuing-bank, licensing, and fiat-balance safeguarding details remain subject to final confirmation.

On-chain transactions are irreversible

Transactions on a blockchain cannot be reversed once sent. If you send to a wrong address, on an unsupported network, or on the wrong chain, the funds can be permanently lost and we may be unable to recover them. Always check the address and network before you send.

Securing your access

Keeping your account safe is partly your responsibility. Protect your device, your credentials, and any recovery details. If someone gains access to them, they may be able to access your funds.

Fees reduce value

Fees, including network, conversion (FX), and other charges, reduce the value you receive. The fee schedule will be published at paisy.com/fees; fees are still being decided.

Not investment advice

Nothing in this page is investment, tax, or legal advice. We do not recommend whether to buy, hold, or sell any digital asset. Decisions you make are your own, and you should seek independent advice if you are unsure.
